ClimBing For Kids
Kids are allowed to climb on all walls at Stone Moves and there are routes of all levels on all walls.  There is no minimum age requirement.  For a one time climbing experience, kids and adults will have the same rates found on our getting started page.   Stone Moves has great structured activities for those wanting to get their kids climbing each week and off the couch.
CLIMBING TEAM
The Stone Moves' climbing team is focused and structured to allow for each team member to excel in their own abilities. An individual may join the team to compete in climbing competitions or solely to gain more overall physical fitness and climbing ability. A combined practice allows for more team unity and cohesiveness. The practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The minimum age requirement for either of the Stone Moves' climbing team is 9 years old. The competitive climber is at all team practices and competes in all climbing competitions. These climbers are the leaders of the climbing team and set positive examples for other team members to aspire to.

The fitness climber shows up to practice ready to work and excel in their climbing ability. The fitness climber may be competitive but is mainly looking for another source of activity to gain overall physical fitness.

Email info@stonemoves.com for more information about the climbing team or to set up an appointment to meet the coach.

For those who are interested in improving their climbing abilities there is an optional climbing class.

The homeschool group meets every Tuesday and Thursday with two climbing time options of 9am-11pm or 11pm-1pm. There is no minimum or maximum age requirement, parents are welcome to sign-up for climbing along with their child.

Merit badges
Boy Scouts Merit Badge
Stone Moves' BSA merit badge program is an excellent opportunity for your troop to earn that coveted climbing merit badge. Our qualified staff will cover all of the topics required for your scout to earn the badge over approximately 4 hours of instruction.

First Aid and CPR is only reviewed according to the BSA handbook. The participants will not be First Aid/CPR certified at the end of the class. After taking the class your scout will have a basic understanding of the technique used, a detailed understanding of the safety concerns involved, and will have demonstrated them both to our staff and your troop leader.

Due to the amount of time required for this class it is recommended that you book at least 30 days in advance. Email us at info@stonemoves.com to learn more about our merit badge program or to book your event.
